PRCC offers peer support to individuals who use a variety of recovery pathways and we honor each person’s unique recovery journey. We know from experience that successful recovery from drugs and alcohol requires support from others.

Health Care for People in Need
The Portland Community Free Clinic, located at 103 India Street, provides primary care to uninsured, low-income adults living in Cumberland County, Maine. All services at the PCFC are provided at no charge.

Empowering Immigrant women to gain access and find a place in their new society
Language acquisition is embedded across all our program experiences and helps women Find Their Voice, navigate and understand the US systems and contribute to community needs. Women will learn new ways to identify their unique skills and strengths to compete in the labor market for workforce equity.

Addressing homelessness
Providing shelter, food, and other services for homeless and low-income people of all ages.
In 1975 Preble Street was founded as a neighborhood center to involve and empower homeless and low-income residents. Today, Preble Street has become the hub of programs for the most vulnerable and underserved residents of Portland.

We are an affiliate of the national Family Promise program, dedicated to addressing the needs of families facing homelessness in the Greater Portland area. Family Promise provides housing, meals, case management and community for children and their families. experiencing homelessness.
